The Valkyries – Russia

«Valkyries» – is a well-known brand. Everybody related to sports paintball knows this name. And there are several reasons for that…

Valkyries is a female team. Yes, we are the only Russian girls team, regularly training and participating in different level Russian and International tournaments.

Team members change from time to time. In September 2008, after a one year recess we gathered again to continue training and playing. For this time we took part in indoor series “Moscow Winter 2008-2009”, “Ice-Ball 2009-2010”, twice won the Silver of Master League 2009, and became the Third in the year rating of Russian Cup tournaments 2009 by Russian Federation of Paintball in the Central Region. One of our near-term outlooks is The GrandTour 2010.

The team was founded in 2002 by Yulya Knyazeva and Maria Preys and has been successfully competing ever since.

There were several coaches, sharing their experience with us and giving us their hearts and souls: Sergey Rozhnikov, Alexander (Bat), Sergey Samuiov (Sam).

We participate in main indoor and outdoor tournaments in Russia and CIS. This year we are going on Grand Tour to Europe.

We can lose a match to a weak team, but can easily take points playing with the leader of the tournament. Nothing special – just our women feature.

Helsinki Cyclone – Finland

The team was established somewhere around the year 1996 and has concentrated on competitive paintball ever since. The team has been playing the SPBL Finnish League through out it’s history except the year 2006 when we played only The Millennium Series Championship Paintball League. In season 2007 we returned to finnish leagua and the year 2008 brought in Cyclone’s second squad Cyclone VDO, who won the finnish 2nd division that year. The season 2010 bought us our sixth SPBL championship and now we are the most succesfull team in finnish paintball scene has ever seen!

The team has seen many talented players committing themselves to the sport and to the team and some of those players are now legens of finnish paintball scene. And to mention, at least one of those players has gained international reputation and recocgnition as well (and a few World Championships etc.). We truely can assure you there is more to come: more succes, more legends, more championships and more paintball!

Antwerp Overdrive – Belgium

Team Overdrive might sound unfamiliar, yet all of our players have been competing in the Millennium series for years. When a group of orphaned players united during the devastating 2010 season, our team was born. Since we had to rebuild from scratch, we decided not to compete in the Series this season, but signing with our new sponsors in the off-season gave us an unseen opportunity: a spot in the SPL league. This, of
course, opened a whole new world to us, and gave us the strength and willpower to take our game to a next level. During the 2011 season we will learn the way and needs of
competing at this top level and try to put Belgium on the map once again in paintball history.

Stockholm Grin – Sweden

GRIN Stockholm was established in 2002 on a field near Stockholm and played their first event in
APG cup 2002. The founder of the team was the Andersson brothers and a few other guys that still
play for the team.
Grin celebrate 10 years next year in the Paintball circus with a lot of experience from Nordic Series,
Millennium Series, JT Challenge, PBSM, Middle Swedish series, Värmlands Serien, APG cup, 3 Crown
Series and a few other local competitions.
After 4 years of competing in Millennium Series with a 2nd place in Bassildon the team went back
home to Sweden and Scandinavia to compete in the Swedish SM league and finished in 3rd place in
division 1 for the total series in 2010. In 2010 GRIN was one of the 10th best team in Sweden and
looking forward to do even better in 2011.

In 2011 GRIN Stockholm with a few new recruits, will be competing in PBSM, DXS Challenge, BS Cup
and a few other local competitions.
